I agree with you on that. Rain water is very good for washing and even cooking.

Some people use rain water to water their plants
instead of having to use borehole water.

I have heard people storing rainwater in different ways to use for agriculture and for other non-drinking purposes and it's a very good way to save money and the environment

Yes it is given for free from nature. So you don't need to even pay a dime for this

Some people always feel rain water is not useful but in some places, it's a major break from having to buy water. If you are in those kind of places, even if it's raining at night, just try and put your containers to save cost of buying water.

I wish if people can be more smarter and can use rain water to water plants and for other cleaning purposes and just they need to store rain water properly

Some farmers find a way to channel rainwater for irrigation purpose. And with that, they find a cheap source of watering their plants.

If farmers can prepare small wells with the help of bricks and cement then they can store rain water and use later

Farmers in my country are building these kind if irrigation systems. And I I heard that the water collected can water a hectare of farm everyday for 3 months. You can imagine how much is saved on generating water for that three months.

Rain water harvesting would reduce the demand pressure on municipal water supply and also help conserve water resources. It saves water costs because it can be used to wash clothes and cars at home.
