I would think the neighbours might complain about the noise if you lived in an apartment. Chickens are really noisy, especially whenever they lay an egg.

That's right I agree with you. Raising chickens is only suitable in rural areas that have large areas of land. Because chicken manure can cause problems if it is kept in places that are not suitable, such as cities, especially apartments.

It doesn't have to be a rural area, you just need to have a yard. I don't live in a rural area, but my backyard is enough to keep chickens in. We just don't keep huge numbers of them. About 6 is enough.
