Yesterday I tried to do this from morning to evening I run my program smoothly but at night when I went outside for walking I saw cart of chicken corn soup and then I was not able to hold my self and this practice was broken there.

This way you may save some money as you may delay a purchase for a longer duration that its price may decrease or you may feel that you don't need that

In my place, prices have rarely decreased on a product. When they increase they most likely stay there or increase even further.

Practically doing this is impossible. I have tried to be very frugal and go a whole day with zero expenses, but couldn't fulfill it.
