Induction cooktop does cook quickly and it is better as compared to gas and saves money too so I prefer this over gas stove

In malaysia gas is cheaper than electricity. Hence most household use gas.

Cooking with gas could be very expensive in some locations. That's why you need to always do a proper analysis if the situation before deciding your go to cooking fuel.

It is very expensive if we compare it with LPG Gas but still many find it convenient as they can use their old pots for cooking

True, over here we do not even have a stable supply of light, so we end up falling back to gas or stove.
