Re: Don't Buy too much of Makeup Ladies

It depends on each individual though, for some makeups plays a very vital role, it's something they are use to and there is no other choice but to buy it.

Before makeup came into existence, how were ladies surviving? There is nothing that one can't minimize to save money. Most ladies are selling out their bodies just to be able to afford the makeup.

For one thing, makeup is a very old invention, and was originally for men as much as women. And it's about societal expectations. In lots of jobs women are expected to wear makeup or they aren't regarded as looking professional. Obviously the requirement didn't exist before makeup existed, but it does now. What you're saying is like telling a man who works in a job where he is expected to wear a suit and tie that he doesn't really need a suit and tie and "how did gentlemen survive before suits?"

What the heck are you talking about?! No, most ladies are not doing that.

I just realized that because I am on the Skinny Squad of Jordan's Skinny Syrup (also known as Jordan's Skinny Mixes), I need to make myself look presentable! Makeup is required. ;)

If that is what works for you, it's fine. I know skinny pero that are really pretty and I believe for sure, you are too. Don't just spend too much on make up. Don't go overboard.

I think its fine if your friends are not spending less than that also $8 is too much but these cosmetics do costs a lot of money

You don't know how much makeup costs. Cheap brands are more likely to cause skin irritation, and it's not worth the savings if it's going to give you a rash or make you itch. It's got nothing to do with how much your friends spend (they might have different skin, different needs, different preferences), it's how much it costs for what you (the person buying it) need.

That's a reasonable expenditure on makeup stuff. I do up to $17 a month on makeup.

Way to ignore what most of the women in the thread were actually saying.

This is one topic that I don't like discussing because it is subjective. But modesty should be the watchword.

If you look at the prices of cosmetics and makeup accessories you will certainly try to reduce the money you spend on it but some people prefer to buy these as they like to look good at any cost

Do you think that women buy cosmetics without looking at the prices?

It's challenging to make broad generalizations about whether all women consider prices when buying cosmetics.

People's purchasing decisions are influenced by a combination of factors, including personal preferences, brand loyalty, product quality, marketing, and budget considerations.

I have been having a terrible while finding eyeliner.

I usually buy the same eyeliner from Family Dollar and the eyeliners always work. A month or two ago, I bought the last two left, and guess what? The eyeliners refuse to apply.

That doesn't mean moderation should not he applied notwithstanding the factors you mentioned.
