Everyone can afford a washing machine as it's not so expensive so you can do laundry yourself

Washing machines are rather expensive in my place and it's an absolute luxury. I use my hands to wash my clothes though.

Yes even without a washing machine you can still do your laundry. I hand wash my clothes most times and money is saved

I think that it's laziness that makes people to visit the dry cleaner when they are not sick and pay for their clothes to be washed for them.

Some clothes need to be dry cleaned. Washing at home isn't a substitute for it. It's a different process.

Nope, not everyone can afford a washing machine. That's a ridiculous thing to say. Some people are homeless, some live pay cheque to pay cheque.

That is not what dry cleaning means. It's not just washing clothes with water and then drying them. It's a different process.

"Dry cleaning is any cleaning process for clothing and textiles using a solvent other than water.

Dry cleaning still involves liquid, but clothes are instead soaked in a water-free liquid solvent (usually non-polar, as opposed to water which is a polar solvent). Tetrachloroethylene (perchloroethylene), known in the industry as "perc", is the most widely used solvent. Alternative solvents are 1-bromopropane and hydrocarbons.[1]

Most natural fibers can be washed in water but some synthetics (e.g., viscose, lyocell, modal, and cupro) react poorly with water and should be dry-cleaned if possible"

It is hard for everyone to afford a washing machine but then they can wash clothes daily or 2-3 times a week manually

I need to buy a clothes dryer, that's what I need for my laundry room to be complete. The dryer will help me a lot on rainy winter days and in addition, it seems that a lot of clothes come out of the dryer without the need for ironing, which is great for me.

Sounds like you've never washed nappies. It can in fact be an exhausting job if you have a lot of it to do (like when you have a newborn constantly dirtying clothes)

I do my washing at home, but I wouldn't say it's easy. At least not for everyone.

You just have to trade in the efforts for the amount you would have to pay a laundry man.

I love doing my laundry because I know how to deal with the stains. where they are located as well after sorting out my clothes.

I have become so accustomed to it that I can't ask someone else to do it for me.
p.S I hated the nappy stage when my daughter was growing up.

I was never going to pay anyone to do it for me. I was just saying it wasn't easy.

That happens when you have been washing your clothes by yourself for a long time. You won't feel comfortable with someone else washing your clothes for you.

It's a hard job to do laundry with hands but if you can do that then you will be saving money and you can look at it as exercise too

It's not a fun way to exercise, and can actually be damaging to your health. Women who wash clothes by hand often end up with arthritis in their hands, which is painful and can be really debilitating.

It's not only hard to wash by hand, it's not easy to do with a machine either. Sorting the clothes, soaking and spot cleaning stains, hanging them out, bringing them in, folding them and putting them away all takes time. Anybody who thinks it's easy probably hasn't done laundry for a household.

JASPREET wrote:In Our part many people actually a large percentage have hired maids to Laundry their clothes through washing machine which does look surprising but its a fact and if they can do that on their own through washing machine then they can save a lot of money as on an average they charge around $50 per house for a month or even more looking at the laundry load. <3

$50 per month for a month is too high. It would be around 4100 Indian Rupees. I think that is too high if it's only for laundry. I assume that it would be cleaning, drying, folding and ironing. But still it's a huge amount unless it's a big family.

These days maids charge so much so we need to complete our chores by ourselves and save money

If we can stop being lazy then we can save so much money like by doing our laundry and sometimes do the manual one if the clothes are not too many

LoL this is just the harsh truth. Most of the things we spend money on are things that we can actually do ourselves, but just too lazy to do them.

We all deserve some fun so it's ok to hire someone to get the laundry or any such thing done and we can use that time to relax and to earn more
