Renting of clothes and other related outfits is cool but not really common these days, this era we are people prefer buying and owning it for a lifetime.
Renting only comments these days during wedding ceremonies where a man will rent the best suits and the woman will also go for the best wedding gown.

As much as one can, one should borrow clothes from relations. If one has a brother whose clothes size you, you can borrow once in a while. I borrowed my brother's clothes for a pageant I was contesting in and never had to buy any new clothes.
