When you gamble for fun, you would just do with small amounts that you can lose. But looking at it, you can still use that money lost in gambling to buy something for yourself

The only saving grace is that he doesn't gamble irresponsibly with every money he has. Some married men are reckless with their gambling habits and wouldn't mind using money meant for family projects to play gambling.

Gambling addiction is very terrible drain on a person's finances. It is dangerous because it can render a person unable to have savings and do any meaningful projects because the person gambles every money he or she has.
