Use old TVs and don't buy new ones to save money!

Postby MysticMoons » 14 Jul 2022, 21:09

One way that I saved a lot of money as well as still save money. Is that I simply don't buy a new TV until the old one burns out. This helped me save a lot of money because when I finally did buy a flat screen, I got it very cheap for a great price!

And one TV in my house is an old one, and I will not be buying a new one until I feel like it. So I am saving a lot of money by not buying a new TV. What do you all think of this? And are you excited

I understand what you are talking about. using something that works until it burns out is a smart thing. I wait until my television almost burns out and then I start looking. Sometimes there are a few good models on sale at the time when I need .I am all set for now. My smart tv will last a few years until I decide to get another one

This advice is almost for everything some people change their phones when once a new phone is out even when the old one is still in a perfect condition. Continuing with the old ones will save money

How about power consumption? What if the new tech offers a very low power consumption which usually leads to us lowering our monthly bills. Though I agree with you because I usually buy a new one when the old has done its purpose already.

Nowadays with cellphone tv apps, we do not watch tv anymore. Furthermore the series are repeated ones. We have 4 tv at home, 20 years old. Still can use but we rarely use them

I normally buy a new items when the old one has worn out. Ilbuy I don't do that when it comes to clothes. That one is a tricky situation
