One way you can save a lot of money is buy simply just not buying food at the theater snack court. For one it's way to expensive and it has only gotten worse. One way I save one is by making popcorn and taking it in my pockets into the theater. I also get cheap soda chips, and candy and walmart for one dollar. Or at the dollar store. Then i do not have to pay the high prices of the theater food. What do you all think of this?

I do this a lot instead of me spending money on buying the overpriced snacks at the cinema I go along with my own snacks. So yes you can actually save money this way.

i wish i could do this but here, the cinema does not allow you to bring food or snack. You buy from the cinema only. But that is a great way to save money. Cinema snacks and food are really expensive, The price of a cup of slosh is equivalent to the price of a liter of juice.

This may be possible if you sneak the food in, but here it is common to be kicked out of the theater if you get caught with food brought in from outside and they do watch for it.

Just as it is with every other business, there are expenses to cover just to keep the doors open and the lights on. Add in employee expenses, facility rent and utilities and even the cost of renting the films they display and their costs far exceed the income from just ticket sales.

Prices go up with inflation and going to a cinema is no exception. A significant part of their revenue comes from the high price food sales and they will protect that revenue source. Don't cheat the system unless you don't mind getting caught and kicked out mid film with no refunds.

I wish i could bring in my own snacks. Cinemas forbid customers to bring in snacks aand drinks because they wont be able to earn extra income. Hence, the ticket checker will check our bags before entry.

I normally pocket my roasted peanuts in my pocket and enjoy them one by one in the theatre.

Yeah you can even make your fruit juice to take with you to the theater
. it will save you from buying the expensive drinks from there.

Yes this would definitely help you save better, the snacks they usually sell on these theatres are expensive, but that's also how they make their money, so most of them tend to make sure you do not bring in your own snacks. You would be able to save more money if you just stay at home and watch the movie though.

One thing for sure in my country is that you can't go with snacks into any place they are selling snacks. They would search you. But if you can hide it very well. Fine. But that takes too much eject for me.

If one can't go with snacks, why not recreate the movie night ambience in your home, download a premium movie and watch with your family. Saves cost a lot.

You can buy your snacks from home to cinemas because everything in cinemas is overpriced. They sell brand in addition to the snacks. Sometimes, you buy more than double the price generally.

For me l am normally baking some maandazi snacks and keeping them to use for some days in my household. This becomes very cheap compared to buying them for breakfast everyday.

I like popcorn and usually, I buy it in the cinema but I always buy drinks in the supermarket as in the theater it is quite expensive.

A funnel of pop corn is $1 in the cinema. That same funnel and pop corn is sold at 0.2 outside the cinema.

If I am going to a Cinema that doesn't allow me to come in with my own pop corn, I would rather see my movie without a pop corn than buy that their overpriced pop corn.

Even prices of drinks are always overpriced in the cinemas and I usually go with mine from home.

This is a really good idea pop corn here cost more in the thretre. So doing yours and taking it along is cheaper.

I use to buy mine from the roadside double of what they sell at the cinema, put it in my bag and use It inside the Cinema hall.

It is really a good idea to buy your pop corn to the cinema. What I buy for a dollar in the cinema is usually very small compared to what they sell outside.

It's just a couple of hours so I can watch a movie without eating anything and can eat when I reach home or on my way home
