Save money by buying your grocery in bulk. We have a tradition at home where we and the extended family buy groceries together, in bulk. We buy more than 1 item of a certain product that we need. Beginning of each month we make a list. We use WhatsApp to communicate and make a list of what we all need. Whenever somebody comes across a sale of a certain item on the list we buy that in bulk and share it amongst each other. We end up not having to buy groceries often and we spend less since we buy in bulk and get discounts on purchases. Each family ends up getting more food that will last long.

Yes that's true you can also make use of buying the products on promotion in supermarkets like buy an aerial detergents 1kg carton and get one carton for free. Then you can divide amongst yourselves

Not everyone can do that but I also like to stock up items that are at less price or at sale and we don't have a big family so I need to buy in a controlled manner

In general, there are some items you can count on to be a better bargain when bought in bulk.

Buy food in bulks is not a good idea especially fresh food. Canned food have expiry dates to look out for. Buy bulk for non food items is useful if you use them often such as detergent, toilet paper. Bulk sales help to save money but always check the quality and expiry dates
