A lot of people buy the health insurance after age of 40. It becomes expenses with each years premium price being added into the insurance cost. If you take insurance at the age of 25, that would be cheaper and so you can roll with the increased yearly punch.
Let's take an example say for Age 25, your early premium is 50 USD (or your local currency). Each year the price would be increased with say 20 USD. Slowly that would mean that by the time you are 40. The price would be really high and it would be difficult for you to pay those higher charges as with time maintaining high insurance becomes another cost to wallet.
When you take insurance earlier, you can claim the yearly health insurance price as a deduction in the taxes. You can also have a cost planned out from the start. This way you can easily maintain the increased cost of earning as the time goes ahead with the age.
Which is the right age to start health insurance? Usually when you start the job, you should start investing into health insurance. However if you choose to take insurance when you have enough savings. I think in that case 30 is the right age. You can start from 25 if you are moving financially in smooth way.
The block of 25-30 age is a good place to start your health insurance. The block of 40 to 45 is going to be the start of expensive age block for taking health insurance. If you take the insurance earlier you would be able to add your aged parents too or your immediate family without much added cost if you do it early.
