There are many places to get some free good places such as food banks and other great places will for sure give you some free food! Also some churches gives free food to the homeless and poor on certain days. So if you stay up to date on these events. You can save money if you are low on money and food. Also if you find out about a party where there is free food you can crash it and get free food, and also save money that way as well

Well, for me all these places are not a certainty because it isn't a daily affair. We need to eat everyday for sustainance and these places doesn't guarantee this. so make money to eat daily.

Many temples and Gurudwaras offer free Langar food, but that is prasad, we may have occasionally as prasad, daily free eat is only for needy.
Such freeloaders will only rob right of the needy.

I personally don't prefer free things in the expense of saving money. I would rather work for my stomach and let the free food for the disabled, widowed, the poor, less privileged and those that can't afford to buy their own food

My though on this tactics is that, the plate you are eating, in the aim of saving money, will be a dish that somebody who has nothing to eat, no money, and even no shelter will have to miss out on because you decided to eat thier share. I will pass on it.

If I can still afford food I will avoid taking free food at church as much as possible. But sometimes I don't have money, I will take free food at church, God Bless anyone who helps others

What about the day they dont give you food? And i am sure they would just be Sharing a single plate to you so you would still have to spend other days. It would be better to look for other ways to save money.

I know of a church that gives free food but it is only on service days. I don't think this saving measure is viable.

I have never heard of anything called a food bank. Iny country, you have to work for your food unless hunger would finish you.

There is a simple solution for that guilty feeling of taking food out of the mouths of the truly needy and that is to volunteer to work for the Food Bank and make a donation in cash to support them. They need support as much as they provide it.

I often get free food from the mosque, usually there are donors who are willing to donate their wealth to buy food and distribute it to those in need. Anyone may take these foods in reasonable quantities.

That is government or NGO sponsored, for poor / needy people.
Using it for "saving" is his idea.

that sort of banks should only be used for people who don't have money to buy food. If everyone start doing that to save money, those that really need their help won't receive food.
