Yes this brilliant. In fact buying food on this way when gone out with friends becomes cheaper as the bill is shared among the friends hence the burden being reduced.

It is always good to share and get multiple different choices. You just have to agree on all of the items for all to eat

If there are 3 persons, buy 2 person share, add in side dish or additional rice, sufficient to have a good meal.

Definitely, money can be saved this way. But then this will he great for friends that are not stingy because some friends just want to be parasites. They believe you should just buy and buy all the time for them

I prefer my own meals. I am a big eater and would consume large portions.

I will mostly share with those that can't easily afford their meals. Sometimes buying and eating alone is even cheaper than sharing with others that might even take large portions
