Entertaining ourselves doesn't always have to be expensive, grand or luxurious. There are other forms of entertainment aside from going on a tour, eating at a fine-dine restaurant, watching a concert, etc. Below are some examples of fun ways to spend our time which will cost us nothing (or virtually nothing!):

1. Memorizing a new song that you like
2. Learning the basic greetings of a country that you want to visit someday (through blogs or YouTube tutorials)
3. Walking outdoors with no particular destination with your pet
4. Playing a board game with your relatives or friends
5. Rereading your collection of old comics (Garfield comics are so hilarious!)

This is just a short list of highly amusing things to do which won't put a dent in your wallet. With a little imagination, you can use your leisure time to not only entertain yourself, but also protect your hard-earned money from lavish forms of amusement.

I usually don't spend much on entertaining myself. On normal day I would listen to my favourite r&b songs and at times watching some reality shows of celebrities.

We are on the same boat! So many free-to-use apps nowadays consume a lot of my time. I can't discipline myself sometimes. I think I need to go back to a Nokia 3310 phone

Listening to recorded songs on mobile is free too and I downloaded once and now I can listen when I want so its free so no data and no charges to pay

Back then in school I had no access to a television and buying data to access the internet was pretty expensive, so I usually go online probably once a month or two times a month. What I did for fun was actually to read books. I downloaded lots of new books when I had access to data.

Yeah I have been doing this for ages I just look for a cool free spot and I go to spend my day there. Fun seeking shouldn't always cost a thing.

I do movie nights at home. Weekly movie nights. We use a projector and the laptop. Download movies from free sites l,latest movies and watch from home. We make popcorns , make nachos, jello, icecreamsl and some sloshes and we have ourselves out very own cinema at home.

That's the whole idea sometimes after being stucked in the house for days I just want to get out there to entertain myself. it helps the body to have a balanced functioning which is good for ones wellbeing. And I do it free.

I like to cook. However, I have 2 roommates that need to agree on the dish. Both are picky which then does not make fun.

For me most of the day i am usually busy working online or doing a design. As for my offline activities to entertain myself is usually by playing a game or simply watching a movie. I am not really that much of the outing type.

There are indeed a lot of free ways to entertain ourselves, I have a list of books I want to read, spend time playing board games with my kids is also funny and lately I have been working out regularly. My free time isn't enough to do everything I want (free things) so paying for it is out of the question.

I usually entertain myself with short naps, because I'm usually busy most of the day. When I'm free I will take advantage of the time by taking a nap, I don't like going for walks.

Then, there are nights, when I cannot rest. So, I listen to audiobooks.
