Postby Tendz » 10 Aug 2022, 11:28

There are plenty of Do-It-Yourself works to help you save money. To name a few :–

Make your own household products

From soaps to laundry detergents and a bunch of other stuffs, you'll find so many methods online that'll cost as low as a tithe of what it costs for branded products. You'll not only be saving few bucks, but also be knowing the exact ingredients going into your product. It's environment friendly compared to those harsh chemical products.

Conserve energy and other resources, and use energy-efficient bulbs

Turn off lights and tap water when not in use and save energy, water and money. Using energy-efficient light bulbs is better for your pocket and environment. It also lasts longer than the incandescent and halogen bulbs which can save money on your bills in the long run.

Refine old furniture instead of buying new

This will not only save your money, but your home will also have a unique and personal touch to it. Make sure you have the proper safety equipment before you get started. You can take the help of online furniture refinishing tutorials if you're not sure how to do it.

Reuse empty jars , containers, boxes in household, you dont have to buy new storage items. Empty jars to fill in condiments, spices, snacks. Empty boxes turn them into utensils holders, office file holders, containers to fill up leftover meals, gravy, snacks, tidbits, coins and many more

This quiet a nice idea. I personally repair my mountain bike by myself. I only purchase new spare parts and have them fixed by myself. By doing this I save a lot money.

With DIY projects, we can learn a new skill and sharpen our mind. We also end up saving money by working on projects ourselves as opposed to paying someone else to it.

More like it benefits us widely when we decides to do it ourselves. You don't only save money you can also have new skills and even sharpen it as you do it almost daily.

I want to become an aromatherapist soon and make various essential oil mists to aid various ailments. Alternative medicine is the rage these days. People are flocking to it.
