Same goes with medicines, they have some privileged here in PH also discounts for primary products. Same goes with person with disabilities.

There are movie theaters that gives free tickets to seniors. My dad was born without a birth certificate and he got one at age 45 and he took advantage of the fact he looks Old AF, so he got his senior ID at younger age by pretending to be older on his Birth certificate registration.

For a long time I did not have a bank account. I had been using my son's credit union account. But I wanted my independence. I wanted to sign up for a credit union account because they don't have all of those ridiculous fees that banks have. Thee problem was there were no convenient credit union locations. One day I was at a store where I shop regularly and it has a bank branch in the store. I was waiting for my daughter to finish at the cash register and this lady walks up to me and asks if I wanted to open a bank account. I said "No because I don't like all the bank fees." To which she replied: "You're a senior citizen. You can have a free checking account."

That's when the light bulb went off in my brain. "Oh yeah! I'm a senior citizen now."

I think this would be a good idea for those folks who make follow-ups and comparisons on the prices of products from different stores.

That sounds great. I didn't know there is such a thing called senior discount. We don't have that in my country, no special treatment for anyone, kind of sad.

They get a better interest rates in the banks too so these things can be looked to get discounts and good deals on products

Yes seniors have more discounts and to be serve first too. Banks, public transport, restaurants and hospitals

I hope seniors know about these places and can take advantage of these discounts to save money. I wish we have such places here in my country so that I can alert my relatives that are seniors.
