There is a risk of running into malwares/viruses. I don't know how prevalent those are, though.

For me I would neither grab nor recommend such idea to anyone Cause I always know cheap is very expensive. Also free things come with their downside

Torrent is risky and I don't like to use it, there are other websites too on which we can find and download movies so I prefer these

Like you stated money can be saved through downloading via torrent but one has to be careful with downloading with it though.

In Piratebay I only download torrents with the green and pink skull icons because those are declared safe.
