Save by setting savings goals

Postby Yugocean » 20 Sep 2022, 05:58

People earn income only to earn their living. In such a situation, people save by controlling expenses, but it is very important to set the goal of saving. In the absence of a target, that savings will also be spent on something that people will deem necessary for themselves if they fall on tricks of vendors employing marketing tricks.

The right way to set goals is to determine your needs.
Which festivals will you celebrate in the year? Save for every festival.
What are the functions of family and friends? Save for each function.
Will you go elsewhere on vacation? Save for these holidays.

Save even if you get a bonus for these, the bonus will make its spending as good as you like, Enjoy life. without putting any risk on savings.

That is something that we do every month, we always save but instead of putting in separate accounts for each goal we have them all together in the same account.

As long as I keep clicking for pennies every day I don't need goals or budgets, they are there when I need them.

In our culture we have a proverb, in English it could be like that - Every drop counts in ocean.
SO your efforts are also valuable.

That was in the forefront when I was raising my six kids, but now that I am 84 years old and nothing else to do, I take advantage of every moment I can enjoy what life I have left and savings is on the bottom of my list. Of course since I have a couple million Satoshi invested, it happens without me even trying.

I don't have a target for saving now but when I have something in mind like for example, I plan to buy a bike or TV then it helps and motivates me to keep saving

I am always saying to my parents to enjoy their lives, saving is not a priority now, they have their retirement checks and are still young in my opinion, they have 72 now.
In my case, I have two children and it isn't easy but we always manage to save something every month, it is important to live with some stability.
