Save by cross-checking prices

Postby Yugocean » 21 Oct 2022, 06:43

With the establishment of the online market, nowadays many people do online shopping. Online stores are promoting their business with discount offers.

But you have to see if the discount that the stores are giving is authentic or not.
For this, you need to compare the price of the same product at different physical or online stores.

Lest a store sell you something at full price under the pretext of a fake discount. For example, a store might offer a $15 product for $10 at a 33% discount, but who knows whether the product is actually valued at $10?
Buying there will not save you anything.

Generic brands are cheaper than commercial brands and I started seeing some high quality generic brands lately.

I always check where is the best price, it can change from one day to another. Here supermarkets have flyers where we can check how the prices will be during the week.

I also save from buying at the wholesale shops rather than retailers.

I have Amazon Prime and a few hundred dollars worth of gift cards I earned online for free, so of course, I check there. I just bought three bottles of sugar free syrup after I read another post on Forum Coin this morning.

There are a whole lot of gimmicks employed by sellers to scam unsuspecting public so it's good to be very careful about the discount we perceived to receive Io avoid even spending more money.

I always cross check the price of products at online shops and physical stores. I also check regularly if the stores are doing any sales promotion.

I think this is a strategy for the online businessmen to clear stocks and increase the amount of sales. Actually there'snt no any discount there.

Yes the cross checking should be both online and offline. Some sellers are even cheats so you need to be careful

This is why we should compare everything that we buy, should look at alternate brands, substitutes, and the time it will take us to buy from a particular store

Most online stores are always giving discounts that don't typically reduce anything when you compare with other offline stores. It is good to compare prices.

Cross-checking should be mandatory for everything as many people don't like to cross-check and then regret at later stage

For a matter of fact, when you compare the prices of the products in different stores you will end up buying at very cheap prices saving something on the process.

You always have to keep cross checking prices in at least four different stores or shops before you take a final decision on which one to patronise.

Before buying anything, I always make sure I have confirmed the price from other vendors and sellers.

Thank God for e commerce sites. They help people that want to buy things offline to confirm the price range before they step out of their houses to go buy the product.
