Go Prepaid

Postby Yugocean » 29 Nov 2022, 09:14

When you have a postpaid connection on mobile (or anything else), you consume the data in credits and pay later on whatever bill you get. So, you are never sure whether the payment will be within your budget or not. The way to get rid of this problem is to go towards prepaid.

Prepaid is like debit; you pay as per your budget. You can also get an unlimited prepaid plan that lets you enjoy more features than postpaid at a much lower cost.

I am happy with my Post Paid on Ting and my bill is only $6 per line and even after they add for everything I went over on it's almost always under $30 for two lines.

Not for me, As a person who uses internet all day long from source of income to entertainment, I will never go back to prepaid. I am a data devouring monster with my job alone. I run a website that is graphics heavy and that alone consumes data. I will end up spending more money with pre-paid. I also hate slow connection.

My prepaid phone service is so annoying. When I began an account with AT & T, I was told to have enough funds on my debit card for the 18th of every month.

Last month, they took payment on the 16th!

What would have happened if my debit card did not have sufficient funds?

This is in all terms correct and with prepaid we can load what pack we want and not a fixed expense every time

With the said prepaid, I am using it in years now. If I am still working in the field, it is a good option to avail the postpaid. In fact, I even seldom buy prepaid cards because I am always using the Internet and can get in touch with through it.

Depends on country too, we have cheapest net plans here and postpaid will cost more. So we will stick to prepaid.
Business might cost more than individual, this is a fact.

Yes, prepaid is good just so they take the money on the said date so you have the proper funds in your account.

actually prepaid and postpaid will save more on prepaid, because we have indirectly put the brakes on our excessive spending from the start. if we use prepaid we will have limits, but when what we use is postpaid then we will add and add continuously because there are no limits

It is a good step to use prepaid because we can monitor how long it will run out in the next month
