Trade Your Night Out for a Night In to save money

Postby augusta » 29 Nov 2022, 15:36

You always want to step out with family and friends for dinner or drinks especially at weekends, the truth is that this fun seeking most times come at a very high cost . but the fact is that you can get to be with your friends and even have more time at a far lower cost.

How do you achieve this to save money.

You can invite your friends over for homemade dinners with a game night. You would save money because this will be way cheaper and everyone has a great time. You can even request each of your friends to bring a dish, a game or any activity.

This will be having fun with your friends all night while saving money especially if you were on a budget. Moreso, it will be more private than getting into a noisy bar or restaurant for the dinner where Interaction or communication might be ruined because of heavy noise.

That is a habit that we already have, we often get together at each other's houses and we always bring food or drinks, we are together and everyone saves money. It is a great way to spend our Fridays and Saturdays nights.

My roommates and I save money for over about a 2-month period for takeout.

It has been more than a decade that I stopped drinking alcohol, so I was able to save money for it. At present, I am trying to achieve healthy living.

A grocery store sells a 5 for $25.00. That is, 5 items for $25.00.

For example, today, we bought a bag of pizza rolls, a box of burgers, a box of waffles, a steak and a box of garlic toast. All for $25.00.

We love to buy this way!

There are weeks though when we, instead, go to an Amish deli for sandwiches. The deli is generous and they load on the meat toppings for about $7.00 each.

I do not have a boyfriend so you can guess that I do not go out on dates late at night.

Staying indoors all the time could be boring. But you have to step out with family and friends once in a while. There are cheap avenues to have fun with moderate cost.
