Festival season brings fun, joy and merry. At the same time, they can be painfully expensive with various purchases, gifts and home renovations.

Set a festival budget and Plan your gifts

First step is to prepare a budget, so that you can have a clear idea as to how much you're going to spend on festivities. Just don't let your impulses take over, otherwise you may end up making purchases outside your spending limit.

Take advantage of the Festive season sale

Just before the festive season, there's gonna be a blast of offers in the market, both online and retail stores. Grab those attractive offers and deals on the products you wish to buy.

Begin saving now for the next festive season

If you do this, it'll will give you adequate liquidity and help you build a reasonable corpus for the next year's festive shopping. So, Enjoy!

Dont buy new decorations. Being religionfree gave me the perks of not celebrating Holidays too.

Good tips. Yes we should take advantage of holiday sales. It is also a great idea to save as early as January for the next Christmas holiday. The more money you have for holidays the less stress you are with all the holiday expenses

Yes, the better you're able to save, the merrier and hassle free your festivals are going to be.

I always look at all the festive or season sales run by different websites but we cannot get discounts all the time and mostly I remember the prices so it helps.

Nice tips! I rarely buy new decorations, I always use the ones I already have from previous years, I only substitute them if they are broken or no longer works.
I also try to buy presents in the sales season, sometimes I buy them during summer or even in January sales. I can buy better things at a very affordable price.

Yeah, same with me. I use the decorations as long as they haven't faded out or broken.

Use fish in place of meat in Spaghetti sauce. Canned tuna is cheap and you can use it as ground meat alternative.
