Getting your electronic goods fully charged

Postby vbludwig » 12 Dec 2022, 04:08

Save even more money by getting your mobile device, laptop, and other electronics fully charged at public charging stations or at the office, so that when you get home, you don't need as much electricity and your electric bills will be lower.

There is one little detail you need to be aware of. Read your user manual on any rechargeable device. In most cases, they speak of the number of times you can cycle the battery before it will no longer work. Thing is, that little word refers to charging the battery to 100% or allowing it to fall to 0% charge. Both ends severely shorten the life of the battery.

Never charge anything to a full 100% charge and never let it fall to 0%. Your batteries will last months if not years longer no matter where you charge them. Read your user manual for full details.

I will always charge my electronic devices at about 80% to 90% in the office, so I don't need to charge them at home anymore.

Sneaky yet smart, so far I have always fully charged my electronic devices, but I never thought if this could be classified as one of many saving tips.

I've never used this as a way to save money because so far I only charge my electronic devices when the battery runs out and needs to be charged. I'll give it a try and compare my electric bills.

It is my habit to fully charge my smartphone wherever I am except at home. I do this every day, whether at work or at a coffee shop, so that I don't have to charge it at home and can use it without worrying about a low battery, as well as to save more money by reducing my electricity bills

If you charge it on your office or public space then it will save you a lot, but if you charge it on your own company then it will not save you anything

Anywhere I am and I see electricity, I make sure to charge my phones. Even if it is in someone's house, I would charge.

I don't like this thing and prefer to charge my phone at home only and it does not cost much electricity so I prefer it this way
