Making washing powder is easier and cheaper than making soap bars.

Mix 1 gramme of soap flakes or grated soap with 10 gm of loose washing soda and 2 gm of baking soda. While washing, add 1/5 teaspoon essential oil to this mixture. Your washing powder is ready.

(this might not work on all clothes, so better test your on old cloth that you might reuse or refurbished.)
