It's also worth saving 1 cent.

I agree with you on this. I too oftenly found myself in this scenario. I tend to ignore the one cent here.

I seldom use cash to pay for purchase now. I only use credit card or Octopus card (a stored value smart card). I just pay the exact amount.

I always accept the change, no matter if it is only 1 cent, it is money! If we go somewhere and we lack 1 cent to pay, we don't bring the product.

However, singaporr and malaysia do not use 1 crnt anymore. 5 cent coins some shops do not acxept anymore although the bank does.

Yes, the retailers are earning those 1 cents frkm each consumers. That is why now they round up the amount.

yes you can't ignore even the smallest coins we can still store them so that they add up to make good money

There is no amount that is too small. That's one thing about me i try to save anything i get, no matter how small. Cause the truth of the matter is that without that one cent you consider as too smal, you cannot make a dollar. That's to tell you how important the one cent is in completing a dollar.

Ignoring small savings remain acceptable for sometime but once it becomes habit then we face very true problems. I take the changes which shopkeepers give me and then use it in other place when it becomes too much.

A person that values money doesn't joke with even one cent. They can easily compound to buy you something that might be useful to you.

I find that behaviour to be financially arrogant. One cent is money that can accumulate accross 5 purchases and get you a pack of sachet water. But some people just overpay just because it's one cent over.

I am guilty of this. I always pay $10 for a product if $9.99. I think I have to stop. I always regard the one cent as insignificant.

I always pay exactly the advertised Price. I should even be negotiating for a slight reduction. Why do I need to add one cent to them.
