It may sound weird but yes we can save money if we closely monitor our bank statements as many times banks do charge us with amounts that we don't even recognize and you being the owner of your account has full right to ask the bank for an explanation and can also get that reimbursement of that money deducted and in case bank makes excuses then you can visit the bank branch and ask them for complaint book and get your complaint documented and this way your issue will be resolved at the soonest and of course you can also contact RBI which is the central bank in case of India.
Almost all banks have some small fees that if we don't pay attention, add up and by the end of the year we would have paid a lot of commissions. Banks rely on our inaction by not checking our bank statements to charge us hidden fees, so always having an open eye to our bank account can be a good strategy to save some money.
