Save by Recycling Things

Postby Vehlijanta » 25 Feb 2023, 14:57

You need to have an approach to recycle things to save money. If you have clothes that you no longer use then you can use these as mop or kitchen towels or for house cleaning. Same way empty bottles can be used to plant flowers, herbs etc so no need to buy flower pots and you can find all these things in your home and it's just about your mindset and approach.

I can vouch for this tip, because my wife does it all the time. Notice the recycled jar and most of the others are from the Thrift Store.

Working on a New Side-Hustle

Since age is no longer creeping up on me, but rushing in like an NFL ball carrier on 4th down from the 1 yard line. it's very simple.

I stopped buying tupperwares, I just use the plastic tubs of the ice creams I ate. if you remove the stickers, it will look like a tupperwear.

Just buy an icecream, enjoy and eat the ice cream, remove the stickers once the icecream is gone and you got "tupperwear" for free.

That's the 'Reuse' part of the "Renew>>>Reuse>>>Recycle"-process; but yes, good tip

In my household growing up, our 'Tupperware' was butter-bins.

My grandparents and parents are doing this for years. We use the containers after we consume the ice cream or the content of the product

In America, they do that with 'the recycle triangle around a number,' to indicate if you can leave the item in the recycling-bins (to be picked-up and taken to the recycling-processor, we imagine ... though it is taken by the same people who pick up 'the regular trash' :eh: )

Companies do that because they are told to label these like that but other than that nobody follows these signs

Maybe you don't; but the State notes that not all the numbers are recycleable in all cities.
