Set aside a budget to help the needy

Postby Yugocean » 02 Mar 2023, 07:32

I am not against helping the needy, but giving money in their name should be limited. Somewhere charity and somewhere beggars coexist, and people also keep giving alms to help. Make a separate budget for this.

Use only the part of your budget that is saved so that your financial condition does not worsen. If you suddenly need money and the remaining budget is not left, use that charity budget as a charity for yourself.

I spend most of my time online and I have learned that giving to beggers is like flushing money down the toilet. If a begger really impresses me, I would rather teach him how to fish (make money) than give him a fish to feed him for one day. If he won't put forth the effort to learn, then he can keep on begging. That may sound cruel, but I have been doing this stuff for over 20 years.

Since age is no longer creeping up on me, but rushing in like an NFL ball carrier on 4th down from the 1 yard line. it's very simple.

I prefer to help the needy directly and I never give money, I give them food mainly. I never thought about setting aside a budget for it as I can't afford to give that much, I usually buy things to give while I am doing my grocery shopping.

Giving them food and old clothes is the best way to help them
