Instead of Selling, Exchange your Old Smartphone

Postby Vehlijanta » 14 Mar 2023, 15:33

If you have a smartphone that is in working order whose display is working fine and is not broken and you like to sell it and buy a new phone then you should consider it exchanging online on e-commerce websites and buy new phone as there are many smartphones on which you can get bumper discount while exchanging your old phone.

I carry a $100 Motorola smartphone and have for many years and they last me 3 to 5 years, so at $25 a year average I don't even count it as an expense.

I always wait until my phone carrier offers me a trade in deal and most of the time I get my phone at no cost. All I have to pay for is the tax and activation fee which is about $80.00 but that is it. I have had my phone for almost 2 years and it is still good so no trade in yet

I normally give it away for the relatives that they need them and I buy new ones. I don't exchange nor do I sell my things.

Yes, that's right, there are also many like that here. But I don't, because I prefer to keep using the products I have until they wear out. If it's damaged, I'll just replace my product, by buying a new one, including a cell phone.

Yea sounds nice but i believe it also depends on the model. Sometime back i had a smartphone that was working very well and i wanted to exchange it, they told me I can't cause the model i was using is no longer being sold that much in the market. So i guess they only accept phones they know they can sell themselves.

Verizon offers it to me. I am sure a national phone company will do the same for you

I find my own bargains, like I just upgraded my phone to a Motorola E for $100 and hooked it up to T-Mobile with Unlimited Talk, Text and 2 Gb of 5G Data and when that runs out (seldom for me) I get Unlimited 4G Data.

Now I can take the Sim Card out of my old phone and run it on Wi-Fi with an app that pays me to listen to Podcasts and at the same time I set alarms to claim my faucets.

I heard there are shops like that in my city that you can easily swap your smartphones as far as it is powering on for new ones.

It's a great deal for me because Using a smartphone for above two years it's something that I dislike so much.

I never knew you could exchange phones. I'm already thinking of doing so. This is surely a way of saving money

I only add little amount of money to old smartphones to get a new one of more higher specifications and has always work fine for me.

I don't think there is much difference given that your smartphone would still be valued at its worth.

A lot of people exchange their old smartphone for new ones by just adding some amount of money on top of it.
