Growing vegetables in own garden.

Postby astutimeliana723 » 20 Mar 2023, 07:20

We usually grow vegetables in our own garden, from kale, mustard greens, spinach, tomatoes, eggplants, green onions, celery, chilies, etc. We water it every morning and evening unless it's raining, don't forget to fertilize it regularly. Things like this really help to save money even if it's just buying vegetables every day. If you don't have a large area, plant it using the hydroponic method, there are lots of tutorials on YouTube that we can use to learn. Even if you grow a large amount, you can sell some of it and make money. What do you think about it?

My parents have a farm, we grow almost all the vegetables we eat, even when we don't have it neighbors use to share what they have. We also have many fruit trees and chickens for eggs. We save a lot, especially nowadays that the inflation is so high, it is scary to go to the supermarket.

We also recently started planting again just that there's so much little rain so we normally water with the tap water which is also sometimes costly.

I'm so glad we're planting now though we had some mice that used to come eat our plants. Hoping they really flourish.

Indeed rats, caterpillars, grasshoppers. Is a pest that often attacks plants. Then we need to spray it with natural pesticides. Using clove soaking water, tobacco, and several other ingredients, to spray the plants so they are not affected by pests.

We usually grow some vegetables on our backyard during the rainy seasons. This is because we can't afford the cost of doing irrigation.

If it's just for our own needs, we can plant it small in pots, or in a hydroponic system. We can still plant it even in summer, we have to be diligent in watering it every morning and evening.

I usually grow some vegetables in the garden but the problem is the harsh climate as a result of bad weather. I therefore not in a position financially to set up the irrigation.

Growing your own vegetables would definitely help you save more money. With this you would not have to waste money on buying, you can easily take from your garden. And in some cases it can even be more healthy. These days most people use chemicals to grow their things.

That's right I agree with you. Indeed, many chemicals are used in the world of agriculture. By managing our own vegetable plants we can use natural ingredients to get the best results.

Of course yes. Vegetables tend to do well on my garden especially during the rainy seasons like this time. I therefore save alot on green vegetables, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, cabbages, and so on.
