I have seen this happening for years but never really noticed that those people are doing this always and saving money with that. What they do is get free samples from different stores like we can easily ask the seller to give us a few samples so that we can check and decide if which color combination looks better on our floors and these people arrange so many such samples and then arrange them in squares and glue them down. It's great for a basement, playroom, or even a hobby room. And can also work with wallpaper samples.

Yeah this wouldn't be a bad idea if we can get where we can get these samples it will helpful to cover to he floor at no expense and money is saved

This may help save money but won't give the house the beauty it deserves because of too much of the different patterns on the carpets and people will easily know what is wrong.

That's an interesting idea, but I don't like carpet. It's annoying to clean, so I'd rather have just floorboards.

I have never thought about that the samples can be of different fabrics and textures, I think that the final result must not be the prettiest.

I didn't cover my floor with anything, I left it plain with white tiles, because it looks cleaner.

This could just be for a student or so who is on a budget and can't really afford to seta house
