There are many banks that charge one type of withdrawal or the other; you have to find out which type of withdrawal is free or charges minimal fee (this includes, but not limited to ATM, Counter). As far as possible, use free withdrawal only; if for some reason this is not possible, then make minimum fee withdrawal way as an option.

The cheapest option in my country for banking transactions is online, most transactions are free of charge if done online. To withdraw money the ATM is the best. We should never do transactions directly at the bank's service counter to save money.

In our country, Banks allow 2-3 times free ATM withdrawal from ATMs of other banks, but no fees from ATMs of same bank.

In my country we cannot withdraw from ATM of a different bank. We are compelled to use the ATMs of the same bank of our currency account and credit/debit card.

This is so not nice at all. You are not at liberty to withdraw money which means you have to be holding large amount of cash.

I try to make sure I use my bank that deduct less charges when processing transactions and withdrawals, ever since then I have been able to make good use of my money.

I have a list of atm machines that are free to me but I know a trick that works and it does not cost anything. You buy something at walmart ,or a grocery store and when it asks if you want cash back you say yes. it is free in most cases. I also know that at dollar tree they charge $1.00 when you ask for cash back so be careful when you go there.

I always choose bank services that save more on administration fees every month. Even if possible I will choose the one that is free of administration fees every month. For transfer services, sometimes I use applications that are free of transfer fees. That way I can save money.
