If you like to save money, apply 30 days rule religiously in your life. Take 30 day's to think about buying non essential things and it'll give you ample time to decide if you really need the product or not and more often than not you'll not buy unnecessary things.

I shortened mine to 7 minutes, I love buying things. Especially things I don't really need on impulse. The worst thing I can think of happening is I might die and leave all the money I made online still sitting in the bank.

That's the way to go if you don't want to spend unnecessary then you can hasten the non spending decision as fast as possible which is what I'm doing now

I always think about it before buying something, I think if I'll be fine even if I don't buy it, then it's just a minor wish that can be delayed or even skipped.

I don't think it makes any sense to wait for 30!days to decide if you need something. If you are sincere to yourself, you would know almost immediately if you need something or not.
