Do you have any suggestions about how to do that, I mean where can we hear about and buy tickets at the reduced price?

2 evenings ago, she was the right caller on a radio station to win 2 concert tickets to a city orchestra symphony concert.
She decided to take her boyfriend.
Now, she wants to win tickets to Christmas in New York.
The radio station has created a monster!
Some bands actually offer ticket pre sales to the general public to help raise money for the concert. And the tickets are always a bargain on pre sale.spiderdust wrote:Often the pre-sales are for people who are part of the band's official fan club, which you have to pay to join, or for people who hold a credit card from a certain bank. I haven't found that they actually save any money, you're just possibly more likely to get a ticket with a seat you prefer than the general public.

I did make use of student discount on movie tickets back in the days. It is a great way to save on entertainment.Kalayla wrote:Most concerts have a discount for students and seniors in my country. That's a different ball game entirely. There are situations where event organizers do like one month ticket pre sale at a discounted rate to raise funds for the organization of the events. One can buy even VIP tickets at that point at almost half price.spiderdust wrote:Uty Theo wrote:Some bands actually offer ticket pre sales to the general public to help raise money for the concert. I did once see a poster for a concert where they were offering 2 tickets for the price of one... but I think that had more to do with the fact that no one was interested in buying tickets. The headliner had some recent controversy where they had fired their lead singer and replaced him, and people preferred the old singer. I think they were starting to get desperate to get any people in the seats at all.
