Prepare Kitchen Duster at home

Postby Vehlijanta » 14 Apr 2023, 00:40

You need not buy kitchen duster or any duster from any store and spend money on it. You can use the old towel that you don't use anymore and can wash it and sterilise properly before you can start using it as a duster at home

That's very understandable. It gives one the sense of
recycling the old towels that one no longer use

Well, there are people that still spend money on things like this and that's because they may not prefer using the old towel they like

Yes, no need throwing away old towels. You can recycle it and use it as an old rag or duster for cleaning

I use some old clothes as dust cleaner, I usually cut the clothes in pieces so they look like a dust fabric.

It would take another level of luxury if someone actually steps out to buy a kitchen duster.

This is a great money saving tip indeed. I too don't buy dusters rather using the old towels as dusters for my household.

I have never had to buy dusters for any reason. Dusters and rags are self made for me at home

Old clothes naturally turn to dusters for me. And I have abundance old clothes. Means I won't ever have to buy a duster in my life. One can easily even make those fancy dusters at home.

Yeah, that will save money. I prefer to use a microfibre dust cloth though, because the dust sticks to it much better than a towel, so I feel more like I am removing the dust instead of just moving it around. The cloths I use did cost some money, but they have lasted for several years so far.

I don't do fancy dusters. I just use my torn clothes for the different kinds of dusters and pot handlers.

You don't even need much just use your rags and you would be able to sew the pieces together

That's exactly what we do. I took an old White shirt today that has turned brown without redemption to turn to rag today. No costs at all.
