Replace Expensive Tea

Postby Yugocean » 15 Apr 2023, 10:22

If herbal tea is expensive in your area, try chamomile tea or another relatively inexpensive tea instead. Similarly, if chamomile tea is expensive in your area, start consuming other teas instead. The value of goods is determined by market demand, so changing the tea will also reduce the price of expensive tea in an attempt to avoid losing customers.

You have a point there I think we can apply this to other expensive if it will help which it might. Less demand on a product bring change in price so that we can save money

You are very true, for instance the price of a coconut in my country has risen up to $1. So most people nowadays are no longer buying it and they have reverted to Cooking oil. So the price of the coconut is likely to decrease due to a reduction in its demand.

I don´t buy tea in bags, i always prefer to buy thr leaves, it is more expensive but it is definitely better. Tea bags are cheaper but they release microplastics into our drink.

Health is wealth, however tea leaves are cheaper than teabags here.

Herbal teas are more healthy for people that have underlying health conditions like my mom. It doesn't make sense to attempt saving with it if it is recommended for you.

It's good idea, by doing this we just not only save our money but also we'll support others as soon the price of that particular brand will come low, although it won't happen suddenly but at least it will starts moving down.

I always reuse tea leaves to save cost if having to buy it every time. I use up to three times for a particular serving if tea leaves.

It makes sense to be that way, tea leaves should be cheaper here too, since tea bags make the product more expensive, but here, I have no idea why, it's the opposite.

If you have the time and energy it can be more cost effective to grow your own herbs to make herbal tea. I grow camomile, lavender and fruity sage that I can brew into tea whenever I want to.

Actual tea though, from the tea plant, I buy from a tea shop. If I tried to grow my own it wouldn't taste the same.

The tea in tea bags is usually lower in quality. Cheap black tea bags use the sweepings and dust left over from packaging the leaves for loose leaf tea.

You can get tea bags that are just paper and don't have microplastics, but they're more expensive.

And there are always cheaper ones that won't compromise our health. Diabetamil for instance is good for diabetic patients for instance and it's cheaper too.

Lemon tree teas arr almost free in my country. It gives people the chance to take a healthy tea while minimizing expenses. Just have to learn to extract the tea from the leaves.
