Use This Small tip to Keep your Restroom and other Rooms refreshing

Postby JASPREET » 18 Apr 2023, 05:03

If you are facing issues with smelly bathrooms/restrooms or one of your rooms is not smelling good and you cannot afford to buy expensive room freshener then you can use Camphor, just put a few pieces in a small paper or poly bag, make small holes in the bag with a sharp pin and you can hang that in your restroom or any other room and it will make your room smell good and this way you will be saving money <3

All the rooms in my house have windows that allow me to ventilate the air but that is a good and cheap way to make it smell good.

Good ventilation and a little use of bleach can keep your restrooms smelling perfectly good.

Be careful if you do this. Keep camphor out of reach of children and pets because it is highly toxic if ingested and can cause rashes if it's left on skin too long. It has been banned in some places for this reason. Also keep it away from fire because it's highly flammable. That's probably not an issue if you are keeping it in the bathroom though.

Personally I don't like the smell, but I suppose some people do. I prefer to use citrus or peppermint oil. Those do cost more. Another thing you can do is put some fragrant herbs (like peppermint) into a spray bottle of water. That's cheaper if you grow your own herbs.

I would prefer to use the citrus method. Camphor has lotd if risk factors attached to using it.

Yes camphors are very cheap here and they come in beautiful colors too. You can drop them on the floor and they even complement the room with their colors

I am yet to try this out but it sounds like a very useful tip and good alternate to expensive room fresheners

Beautiful colours? I think you must be thinking of something else. Camphor is white. It doesn't come in any other colours.

Camphor haa always been an effective deodoriser. It is cheaper too. Just that FOMO make some of us to rather chase expensive air fresheners.
