Save Money With Boiled Potatoes

Postby Vehlijanta » 21 Apr 2023, 01:12

Sounds weird but it's not. Potatoes are popular and cheapest vegetable and are rich in carbs. You can boil potatoes and keep these in freezer and can use these any time you want to save time because it'll take under 2 mins to prepare fried potatoes or use these any way you want and this way you'll save yourself from preparing dishes that takes so long. These are cheap so you'll be saving money.

As weird as it sounds again, I oblique. Tomatoes are quite nutritious, to avoid it loosing its nutrients it must be consumed fresh so stop saving money and go for the best.

This is more like consuming time saving meals so that you would be saving both time and money but go for mostly very cheap things

It may work but not for me, I prefer to boil potatoes when I am going to eat them, if we boil them previously they don't taste the same.

I by far prefer to boil them too, as cause my SII I cannot even think about eating something fried. What I'd spare in terms of time, in such a case, I would spend in drugs for inflamed bowels :(

Potatoes are really cheap in my country. If I buy a dollar worth of potatoes, it lasts me for one week

In my experience, potatoes don't freeze well. The texture is weird when they thaw. They do keep for a really long time in the pantry though. I'm not a fan of eating them boiled, but I like them mashed, or cooked in their skin (either in the oven or the microwave) or in a sauce.

Potatoes are about the cheapest carbs and they are filling too. Eating much potatoes over other carbs would save you money.

Potatoes are naturally sweet and you don't need to spend so much on ingredients to cook potatoes especially boiling it. I boil it and just eat with fried eggs.

I won't eat potatoes that have been boiled two hours prior. Doesn't have that real potatoes taste after it gets cold.

The days I take potatoes to school, I normally stay for a relatively longer time before I feel hungry again compared to rice. If I combine it with toasted bread and eggs, it's till evening before I get hungry again.

Potatoes are versatile and even with an onion only sauce, it would still be tasty. Doesn't take too much for a meal to be set with potatoes.

I think the easiest and cheapest way to prepare potatoes is by boiling them. Frying would be more expensive.
