prepare the next bill in your budget

Postby Yugocean » 24 Apr 2023, 03:34

People have to pay necessary bills every now and then, but many people do not pay attention to it. The result is that their payments come out of their savings, and people comfort themselves into thinking that's what the savings were for.

Your bill budget should include setting aside money for the next set of bills after paying the current ones. This will facilitate budgeting.

Are you referring to fixed monthly bills like electricity and water? Or some sporadic expenses? We all have the second one every now and then and sometimes, depending on the amount, it is inevitable to use our savings.

For me when planning for the budget, I normally put aside the ten percentage of my earnings to savings and spend the rest of the planned budget.

Recurring bills are definitely a must-include in every month's budget, and should not be deducted from savings. if you reduce your savings to pay overheads, then your savings will be depleted very soon.
Try to reduce the number of fixed overheads. In my case, the only fixed monthly are my internet and power service.
