Once, while travelling on the subway, a travelling couple asked me the direction of a mall and the station. I advised them to go to another mall, as it is near another station. But they told me that they alreadyd booked the theatre tickets at that mall. When I asked why they chose that mall (as it was a few kilometres away from the station), their reply was that mall was closest to their location place, whereas to reach other malls one would have to go further via the metro.
Then I told them about the trip. The cost of going to another mall by metro was not much, but the cost of going to the nearest mall by auto was high.
If you're planning to visit nearby places, add the full round-trip cost, not just one-way. If you have to take an auto or cab other than the metro, then add its cost as well and follow the budget.
