Yes it's easy and it's a great idea but this can only work out if you actually know how to do this. Not everyone have the skill to make their own gift and some might not even have the time to learn how to, they would find buying one a lot easier.

Buying is also not a problem, I also sometimes buy it when I'm busy. But I always make sure that the price doesn't go over my set budget.
