No one can fully support all family members. There would always be problems that would crop up. You just have to do what you can.SHAHID987 wrote:If you are settled enough to support all family members and nothing negative happen with you then you can go ahead. But if you feel as you are ignoring yourself in support of others then it's better to first give good care to yourself.
Situations are quite different. What if you have lazy family members that don't want to do anything.OldGuy wrote:I must have grown up on a different planet. In our family, everyone was always there for any member of the extended family that needed help. We were not exactly what you might consider rich, but family was everything and everyone was there for everyone else even to cover financial hardships as they came up.
We never had any "leach" type relationships. If anyone needed help in any form each of us were there for each other and all of us did our own thing for each other as needed. Even though very few of my generation are left, we have lots of grandchildren, nieces and nephews that are covered in emergencies. I still would give any one of them anything they needed if they just ask just as they would if I were in need. It has already happened both ways. You can't take it with you. We share it all for a far happier relationship all around and have regular family phone, text and physical family reunions as often as we can.

That's one thing I don't like about helping people. Humans are very dangerous and then terrible. I avoid helping people as much as possible.bJASPREET wrote:It's a great feeling to be able to help someone but when you know they does not deserve our help and take money to have fun and have no intention to return then its better to say NO
