For example if you need coriander powder then you can buy the seeds from the market, put these on a fry pan for 20-30 seconds without adding any oil and then grind these in a grinder, you will have freshly powdered coriander, same way you can grind Cumin seeds too or even black pepper

Fair enough. I think here it would probably cost me nearly as much to buy the seeds as to buy the powder, but there would be the bonus of added freshness.
