In India 2 major telecos Airtel and JIO have announced an almost 25% hike in its mobile tarriff starting from 3rd July,2024 so you can recharge now to save some money.

That is a good idea to get some talktime in advance. I have always wanted to use Airtel calling other countries like India. I just wanted to get to observe if the charges were fair for international calls since we also have Airtel in Zambia. What might have brought about this price hike?

They had been doing this for some time, there was a hike around 6 months ago too and this is how they are planning to cover up their losses and make profits as from past many years they are provided internet at competitive prices

This is simply disgusting. This hike is too much and trai should intervene and do something about it

There is no other way out and you should either go for BSNL or stick with these hicked rates

Yeah with this kind of announcement one can save money but buying more air time before the d day to save money
