Take control of your financial future by taking the time to educate yourself on personal finance.
I think self-teaching is great if you can do that. When I was going to college I liked attending classes. But my late husband chose Independent Study. He received the course materials at home, studied them on his own, took exams, and earned college credits. Some people have the discipline to be self-taught.
@cmoneyspinner Your husband had a lot of discipline and motivation to be successful in that type of learning environment. I agree, self-teaching can be a great option for those who have the drive and determination to learn on their own.
Thanks because almost everything is moving at a brisk pace and we need to keep Ourselves updated about personal finance and if required attend workshops to learn more
I am willing to learn more about it as I have already started to invested in stocks and would like to learn more about it and other investment avenues for personal and financial growth
I was always interested in stocks but didn't think I had the money. My late husband started with mutual funds because back then you only needed $500 to get started. He started and then educated himself about investing. He used to watch the business channels on cable TV. He learned a lot from those programs. If you're teaching yourself, look for business channels on TV or via YouTube.
