This movie revived Keanu Reeves career. Before John Wick he was flopping in the box office but this movie saved him. Now it has 4 movies and John Wick 4 is about to destroy box office.



This movie franchise is about Retired assassin who decided to quit killing people after he got married. He retired from being assasin when he met his wife. His marriage with her was happy until she died of cancer. Before his wife died she gifted him a dog named Daisy. Daisy was a sweet girl. She is John's only reason to live after his wife's death . He loves waking up with her wagging her tail. He enjoys walking with her. His life have meaning again after she came to his life. Until one day the son of a spoiled brat son of a criminal organization killed Daisy not knowing she is the dog of the world's most dangerous Assassin. Let's say many criminals, both men and women who tried protecting the dog killer died because of Daisy. After he avenged Daisy's death the family and friends of the people he killed wants revenge too, Hence this movie got 3 sequels and an upcoming spin off.

As long as Keanu Reeves is John Wick, this franchise will be successful. I don't think he can be replaced. You can replace James Bond. But not John Wick.

John Wick 4 says he will finally have a new dog. It took him so long to have a replacement for Daisy. He really took her death deeply. It took 3 movies before he got a dog again.

I am lucky to watch all John Wick installments and I just can't wait for the fourth one. It introduces an almost non-stop action movie and I feel the pain and the fatigue of the character which makes the franchise great.

The antagonists died because of a freaking dog. for John Wick though, Daisy is more than a dog. She is his daughter and his only memento from his wife. I just realized the dog who played Daisy is not a girl.

I think in last movie he killed main dude from Hotel. Didn't entire story end up with them or he will chase another boss above this dead?

47 ronin which is his first which is his first Asian role,. He is Half Chinese in real life and he passed as white for long, so he wants to play Asian for once but the movie flopped.It has a high budget and actually a good movie. Basically people told him he is stealing an Asian role, When Keanu is Chinese Canadian in real life. He just look white but he was only 1/4 white. His dad is Mixed Hawaiian/ White and his mom is Chinese.


Knock Knock a movie about a dad who got raped and tortured by 2 underage age girls who invaded his home while his wife and kids are on vacation. it's a horror movie. Destroyed by critics because Keanu cannot do scared looks ridiculous. Also I don't think any straight man will say no to a then 19 year old Ana De Armas.


Yeah and Man of Taichi, He Basically have a "Im half Asian, let me play Asian roles phase" He goes back to playing White roles after that.

When 47 Ronin flopped critics says his career is dead until he did John Wick.

he have a new dog now, Its a Boy but he didnt name him yet. I think Daisy's death traumatized him he stopped naming dogs.

The 4th movie is amazing, Hollywood should have discovered Donnie Yen Earlier. He is the best onscreen martial artist I had seen. I will say he is even better than Jackie Chan, makes me sad he makes it in Hollywood on his 50s. Hollywood should have discovered him on his 20s, He were robbed of decades of English movies with him. His punches looks like they really hurt

I like all versions of it. It does not matter. I consider film as entertainment and nothing more. I expect to be entertained and John Wick does that very well

This sentence remind me on one scene in Batman movie or cartoon (not sure).
Batman found who killed his parents, some low level crook and he start chasing him. Crook went to other thieves searching for help and they attack him since he caused them so much trouble. If he didn't killed parents, Batman would never exist.

Its been some time since I watched the first 3 movies , so I would need a rewatch before watching the 4th

That said , I don't think its gonna destroy the box-office . Jhon Wick films have been profitable yes , but their budget is also very low compared to other big names from hollywood .

I am sure that his fans are eagerly waiting for John Wick 4. I have not watched any movie as such( I mean fully involved) of John Wick but I know them well as I accompanied my husband watching it. Keanu Reeves is too good. I like him.
