The producers told Mattel to put the movie's website Wickedmovie.com on the box for seo purposes. Well Mattel made a mistake by putting the website remove the word movie on the website. It directs to a porn site company wicked. Now they are on a dillema if they have to pull out the dolls from market and replace the boxes or keep selling the dolls and cross fingers the children will not notice the websites suggested on the box.
If I am the owner of the Pornsite, I would paint an actress green and look for an Ariana Grande look alike... Mattell accidentally gave the pornsite publicity.

I know how difficult this can be. Mattel should just own up and come out to apologize publicly. It can easily become a legal battle if they don't own up to it.

To be fair to the porn site, They censored the covers and posters of the porn movies, the pornstars wear clothes in the posters and you have to pay to see them naked to save kids who buy the dollars from trauma.

Wicked is a well known porn site and very hardcore at that. Such kinds of mistakes are not to be pardoned. Truth is that no matter the damage control, some kids have already become hooked on porn through this so called mistake.

What a disaster. I can imagine opening a link to see some musical and all you see is naked people. Ir can be very embarrassing a child having to confront a parent with that. There is no tangible explanation to give.

Dolls can be a great way for children to learn about the world and develop their imagination. It's important to ensure that the dolls they play with are appropriate and promote positive values.

That was an embarassing mistake and a shocking one. It must have made a buzz around and made many heads roll. Well, some negative publicity also helps. Good that they realised it and made the correction.. they should be careful in the future.
