I have not watched this movie. But I grew up with Godzilla and King Kong.
I'm American so I will root for King Kong.
Godzilla is Japanese. LOL.

They are not enemies on this movie. The villain is an Orrangutan, yes a vegetararian animal usually portrayed as cute but are capable of killing humans.

An orangutan? Whoever wrote the script has a great imagination.

Oh! By the way, since I was a kid my big sister always reminded me that Godzilla was Japanese. I didn't know if that was important, but she was my big sister whom I adored. So I never fully supported Godzilla. (Isn't it funny where people get their "points of reference"?)

He is no ordinary Orangutan, he killed multiple monsters that's why Godzilla and King Kong decided to team up.

---------------
If there is a Godzilla villain that I want to be in Hollywood, its Biollante, this rose monster was originally a kind hearted human woman.

Image

She was originally a scientist's daughter and apprentice who died because of Godzilla, her father tried to revive her which leads to her turning into a Rose monster.

As a monster, she remained sentient but she have no control of her body ,I like the concept of a monster that was originally human.

My friend just told me movie is sh*t. Theme is good but everything is just to childlish and it should be done much better. First movie between Godzilla and Kong was much better for him. He wasted money on cinema.

I watched movie few days ago. Except few scenes with gravity, everything else is like standard movie from that niche. Maybe Godzilla was more kitschy than usuall.
