It seemed like the He-man movie is not an origin story. Instead its an Isekai. He basically got reversed Dorothy'd and reverse Alice in Wonderland'd on earth.



Isekai is a Genre where protagonist got trapped to another world/dimension/time period

It would be hard to accept He Man as a skinny guy, it just defeats the image that is itched on the minds of fan. I have a strong feeling that he would be just the human personna of He man and his princely background might have a role to play in his casting, though it should not matter much.

Ah, I can totally see them using that as a marketing thing. It's such BS though. He's not a prince. There are actual royals who are actors. There's a princess whose name I can't remember right now who is in a bunch of Christmas movies. She's in her 50s or 60s and doesn't need the money but enjoys acting.
